Arcachon!
Being in love with architecture, I have particularly enjoyed the Bay of Arcachon. What a joy however to discover that totally unexpected chapel, a tad off the village of L’Herbe in Cap-Ferret last summer!
Before I knew it was called Sainte-Marie-du-Cap, to me it was “la chapelle algérienne”. A heart-stopper.
Being in May and the chapel being dedicated to Our Lady, I offered to honour both her and architecture with an Ave Maria concert. Thank you to Paroisse Cap-Ferret-Sud-Médoc for making it possible.
