To celebrate their patron day, San Marco, and the Italian national day, I will sing a concert of Ave Marias in Santa Maria degli Angeli a Pizzofalcone on 24 April at 7:00 pm.
You have known me for a while now and well know that each concert stems from a lovely story…
Last year as I was strolling through Naples by night, what did I catch a glimpse of? The Grotto of Lourdes!
Yes… Not only had I loved that church earlier in the day, next to where I stayed, but what a surprise in the evening to discover, outside, right by the church wall, down some sort of deadend, the Grotto of Lourdes! At night, that shining grotto had me… I immediately decided to come back one day and sing for Our Lady.
If you feel like Italy, like the most beautiful bay in the world, like Naples where words go missing to describe the soul of the place and its inhabitants, get ready :
